Create a household, confirm the label prefix it suggests, print a sheet of labels, and start sticking them on things. You can print labels before you have decided what goes in any of them.

The permanent code printed on every label, like FOUKS-0042. It never changes and is never given to anything else, even if the label is retired. The prefix comes from your household name and only affects labels printed after you change it.

The mobile app keeps a full copy of your inventory on the device. Scan, claim, photograph and edit with no signal at all. The app shows what is still waiting to upload, and never tells you something is saved to the cloud until it is.

Open the asset in the app and choose "Flag label for reprint". It joins your household reprint queue. Later, from a computer, print the queued labels in a batch and confirm once you have stuck them on — the code and the QR stay exactly the same.

DYMO LabelWriter 450 rolls and common Avery sheets are supported, along with custom sizes. If a sheet is part used, tell the app which row and column to start at.

Invite people by email. They can accept with an account they already have — one account can belong to several households with a different role in each.

FindMyTote speaks MCP, so you can connect the AI client you already use and ask it where things are. You choose which households it may see, and you can revoke that at any time without touching any labels.

By default a scanned label shows nothing to anyone outside your household. If you turn on a public page, you choose exactly which fields appear — and where the container physically is can never be one of them.
